What is this? I see these listed but can't seem to figure out what is meant by them.

Any help?

You'd have to email the owner for the complete explanation as I did. Apparently it is a play on words that is meant as a sort of joke and it's meaning is actually China. Like I said, email the owner and they will give you the explanation of Chian.

Yeah, do tell . . . inquiring minds want to know. All this time I thought they were either misspelling "chain" or maybe their last name was Chian. :D

Well, here it is. : )

There were a bunch of micro containers that were passed out recently and instead of being made in China, they were marked as being made in 'Chian'. Anyone that agreed to take one had to release it as a 'Chian' cache. Hey, they are pretty cool containers and LOL. They were free to whoever took them, even better.

They did...they are closed now and renovating. My wife liked their chili but it was a hard spot to get in and out of so we rarely ate there.

I stopped there for lunch today, not realizing they were closed. I thought the person on the other side of the speaker was just harder to hear :(

OK, I will fill you in. SK8 and I were meeting with several geocachers at Tim Hortons in Windham. I had about 25 of these micro containers. They each had a tag that said "Made in Chian". Obviously a misspelling of China as I too Googled it and tried to find out where Chian was. No Joy! I passed out these containers to those in attendance and instructed everyone to hide them and label the cache as a Chian Cache. Since, SK8 is the only one who has done what she was suppose to do. The containers are waterproof micros and are expensive so I wish all who took one would place them somewhere. I have a few more. If you want one, let me know.

I would take 1 or 2 if they are still available. I would be willing to purchase or at least pay postage if necessary.
