For a college final in one of my rec's classes I needed to design a recreational website for the new facility members atr UMPI. Of course, I choose to design a geocachign website. It isn't much, but I guess you could call it something. Please feel free to check it out.

I noticed that too, but figured I wouldn't split hairs . . . besides it's only a Garmin/Garman. :D

Hey pretty good Jordan but I too also saw a few spelling errors ,so if you get ranked on your spelling as well you might want to consider rechecking all your spelling. :D

Nice start. Is it done in FP? I might suggest putting the main text in another table so you can adjust the spacing a bit better--it looks pretty close to the nav menu. A table would let you add some padding. Other than that, it looks nice--plenty of "spider food". Pretty darned time consuming, isn't it?!

Looks good but like the other posters to this thread, I did find a few spelling errors. ....also, I was unable to sign your guesbook......maybe because the site is not published yet? It gave me this page:

FrontPage Run-Time Component Page

Home page:

1. Fourth line: new, not knew
2. Sixth line: I'd, not I

Geocaching History:

1. Ninth line: defiantly, not definitely (JUST KIDDING!!!)

Pictures:

1. Ammo Geocache: ingredients, not ingrediants
2. Waypoints on a GPS: coords, not cords

(Just a cursory check - probably more...) :) :)

This website is dedicated to Geocacher's in Northern Maine. should be geocachers. Please visit my Ph (http://student.umpi.maine.edu/~cyrj0125/Recreation_Project/pictures.htm)oto Album (http://student.umpi.maine.edu/~cyrj0125/Recreation_Project/pictures.htm).(needs a period here - and a space) Here you can look at geocaching pictures from caches to GPS's and everything above. should be GPSs

I should go to second grade for the day tomorrow.

What about Hare and Hair?
Steal and Steel?
Break and Brake?
Bail and Bale?
Bait and Bate?

Oh hell, I will just re-do the website! :D

GPS is Global Positioning System. It refers to the entire system, Including the satellites, WAAS, LAAS, and other transmitters, and also includes the "r", the receivers which we use to find caches. GPS is a commonly accepted term for the receiver, but GPSr is from what I have been told the correct term.

When in doubt, use a synonym so you know you are right. So, use rabbet for hare and you can't go wrong!

LOL! Don't redo the site - it's a good first effort.

(Oh - and if you can show me a usage of "bate" (present tense!!), I'll send you a dollar.) :D :p :D :p

(And for all you sharpshooters out there, I'm having trouble with the key that does " and ', so don't give me a hard time if they're missing! LOL!)

Hey, we don't want Jordan to get a perfect score do we? We all know any county person who ever gets an A is suspected of cheating or getting help elsewhere! :p
