I can't quite convince msteelee to place a new cache quite yet, but she made a step today by placing her first TB. I think if we can all have some fun with this on it's way to Texas, she might take the leap and place a cache someday!

Carter the Cardinal (http://www.geocaching.com/track/track_detail.asp?ID=72128) (TBG6VM) track (http://www.geocaching.com/map/bugtrack.asp?tid=72128)

It was placed in The "Airline" Travel Bug Inn and Resort (http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?ID=411122) (GCWJJY) by mainiac1957 (http://www.geocaching.com/profile/default.asp?A=139598) (1/1.5)

My very best to Carter as he migrates to Texas. The cardinals at our feeders are some of our favorite birds. Good Luck Carter on your trip!

The "Airline" Travel Bug Inn and Resort has served my bugs well. Enjoy your visit!

The cardinal is the state bird in SIX states - maybe Carter can visit them all!
(Thanks, Hiram, wish I'd thought of that!)

The Cardinal Is My Mothers Favorite Bird. All The Past 20 Yrs She Had Been Collecting Anything With A Cardinal. She Has Stopped Now. If You Would Like Any Cardinal Figures, Msteelee, I Can See What She Has Left. Let Me Know. Msg. Me.

This makes me think of my aunt...except her birds are owls. Anything and everything owls she has it. From thimbles to mobiles to figurines to a construction paper cut and paste owl I made in 2nd grade (yeah, I'm kinda proud of that!) :D

When my brother and I were younger our mom collected owls too!!!! until one day we pryed a diamond eye out of one and my brother stuck it up his nose... he had to go to the emergency room to get it out... it's one of those self explanatory stories. :D

Wait a minute . . . this isn't one of those stories when the "friend"/"brother" turns out to be the person telling the story is it? ;) :D

oh don't worry, there's plenty he can tell about me... like the time we went sled riding down a mud hill and I had a stick go through my hand... (i still have the scars) But i've got proof that my brother exists jake, i have pics that were taken a couple weeks ago at his wedding... :p :p :p

Just to clarify . . . that was a stick that went through your hand and not your head, right? I mean, if it was a stick that went through your head this would explain a lot. :D ;)

And about the photo . . . ah, that doesn't mean much. Remember -- I showed you guys a photo of Heidi to prove that she exists and isn't my imaginary friend/wife and you guys claimed that a) it was a photo that came with the wallet and then b) that it was me in drag.

I was going to say that "great" minds must think alike and then I realized the truth of the matter is that "warped" minds must think alike would be closer to the truth. :D

Incidentally, one time at band camp. . . . :D ;)

Jake, just so you'll know - RanMan's mind isn't warped at all! He just has what I used to call a "unique way of thinking." Well, now it appears it might not be "unique" as there are two of you! (and, you gotta wonder about - well, never mind, you know who you are!)

Huh.

And all along I thought I was warped.

Starting my day with a chuckle about this one for sure - LOL!!! That was great, Jake! It WOULD explain a lot, wouldn't it :D
