View Full Version : Let the Snow Fight Begin! tat 12-09-2006, 07:45 AM Looks South Western Maine wins the first battle! http://www.geocachingmaine.org/gallery/data/510/medium/sd1_today.jpg Trezurs*-R-*Fun 12-09-2006, 08:16 AM Personally, I hope you win every snow fight!! becket 12-09-2006, 08:28 AM you can have all the snow that is destined for the island, too!:D d’76 12-09-2006, 08:44 AM What!!!! :D Dont you guys want like 4ft of snow fo xmas. I mean we do live in maine. If is gonna be cold as hell anyway we might as well be able to play in the snow.:D :D Mainiac1957 12-09-2006, 08:59 AM I STILL have a brand new pair of snowshoes that are going to rust (well not really) if they don't get used this winter. They were a gift last Christmas and it's rude for me not to be using them.;) So I say, "BRING IT"!!! Team2hunt 12-09-2006, 09:01 AM My logs will from on start by writing, RTD instead of DNF. RTD = Refused to dig. Hiram357 12-09-2006, 09:30 AM I like snow. :D MoxieMan 12-09-2006, 12:35 PM I just hope there's enough of a base around Sebago to actually get the sleds in action this season...last year was VERY disappointing. firefighterjake 12-10-2006, 07:42 AM I'm with Dave, Maniac and MoxieMan on this one . . . I want (and many businesses) need snow this year . . . especially since last winter was so difficult for many of those businesses that depend on the snow . . . besides I've put in quite a bit of work with the local snowmobile club clearing trails last year and this year and would like to actually enjoy the fruit of my labors. FuddsGirls 12-10-2006, 08:00 AM There are a few businesses and people in this town that rely on the cold temps for smelt camps along with the snow for plowing money. I love riding on the tractor with the husband while he plows our 700-800 ft of driveway. |
