I was hoping that some of the folks that live in the county could give me an idea of about how much snow is on the ground. Any info would be helpful.

Thanks

Dave

Just got back from up that way, Presque Isle, and they had no more than 6 inches as of last Sunday.

Not much Rick, I go to the Maine HCS forum a lot and some people are riding but it doesn't look like a lot of snow anywhere. They are saying that there is some sledding on the mountains.

Uh, Terry . . . who are you "talking" to? It appears as though Dave started this topic and TRF is "Steve" so who is this "Rick" you are referring to . . . and they say I need to go on new medications. :D

Incidentally, the word I got earlier this week was the riding in St. Agatha was marginal at best, but the RR bed from Washburn to Van Buren was pretty decent . . . but this was before the 40-50+ degree weather. Too long a drive for me to trailer the sled for questionable riding personally. :(

I have heard some folks are riding in the western mountains around Jackman . . . but personally I'm more of a trail rider and it sounds as though there are going to be WAY too many folks all in one spot looking for the snow and that to me is not fun.

So Dave . . . what are you planning on doing in the County if I may be so bold to inquire?

I was in Lincoln this morning and there is about a half inch of ice on the ground. I had to turn the AC on for a while on the ride home. :)

You can always go to this web site and in the navabr click on Web Cams and Trail Reports and it shows web cams from around the state.

OOPs, Sorry Dave,
I am used to chatting with Rick about snowmobiling and it just seems to have gotten typed automatically. LOL I have a friend coming up for a week or two so I hope we get some snow because she can't wait to play on the new sled.
