So where is the picture?

Lets see this Cody.

If you go to the galleries on the cache pages many of them have photos posted. One thing I enjoy doing when I remember my camera - to take and post photos so others might be enticed to visit the cache.

When I did Gravity Outlaw I had my little caching friend Cody with me. She posed as if she was holding up the rock. Her grandparents got a big kick out if it.

There are many cachers who take beautiful photos. Just open the galleries on the cache pages to enjoy them.

So where is the picture?

Lets see this Cody.

Go to the Gravity Outlaw cache - GC9488. Click on the Gallery of pictures - right above where you read the cache logs. First photo - top left..dated 5/3/2008. Double click on that small thumbnail and it will open a larger view.

After looking at it again today, I remember it was early May but still quite cool. Codi and I did quite a few caches that day and had a good time.

As those of you who know me,I always have enjoyed taking photos of most of the places I have cached and I know lot of you also like to do the same. I would like to suggest a fun way to share in those places and maybe even make it a regular part of this website if it garners enough interest. I am suggesting a thread where a photo is posted in an area where there is a cache located and the first individual to guess where the photo was taken and maybe the cache ID # will get to post their own photo and so on and so on. This I think would be a lot of fun and it will also be a way to show others some of the great places that we have in the the state where there are caches located. I would like to start off with the following photo and the first person to guess where it is and the cache ID # and name of the cache will then get to post their own photo. If you have been here this one will be easy.

Nope Hide.

This is not really close to a cache but not far either. I spotted this and just had to take a closer look. While your driving by you would have to have been paying attention to the scenery to spot it. This one can be claimed by two different caches.

Wow! Way to go Dubord. I would never have thought anyone would get that from just that photo. Top of the Valley by dogbreath, just outside of Jackman. Nice work. (Although it probably would have been easy to look at my logs this fall and find it that way. I haven't cached much and the finds are few...)

It is a super cute pic huh? If you have done that hike you would be impressed with these kids who did it without complaint. The littliest blond one did most of it in bare feet and he insisted on wearing boots 4 sizes too big for him (as some 3 year olds will do!) and then decided that it was just easier to go without shoes at all.

That works great for images that are already online, like on a web page or in the photo gallery here. I'm assuming he is trying to display a picture he has on his computer that needs to be uploaded.

But if I am wrong, by all means use this method, it's much easier!

This is the way I post attachments on here, for anyone interested. It may work for you as well. After clicking reply and adding your note, schroll down below the submit reply area on the page, under the post smilies, until you see the 2nd submit reply at the bottom of the page. Just click on the manage attachments. When that page comes up you can click on browse, and go right to the pictures you have loaded on your computer. Find the one you want and click it. Go right back to browse page and click upload. When a minute and it will upload and it will show the file name as well on top of manage attachements area (in small print), so that you know it is there. Go down to the very bottom of the page to click submit and your picture will come up with your reply. ( I don't know if you click under the smilies whether it will or not, I always go down to the bottom under the attachments, to submit the reply)
Hope this helps someone. Hope I also did not leave anything out.

hollora, I don't think that's Sugarloaf. You can see the towers on top of Sugarloaf from behind it. I hunt that area every October and November and have some awesome pics of Sugarloaf from the base of the mountain on the backside.
