After considerable work and discussion, the guidelines for publishing a cache page on geocaching.com have been updated. The last version was dated November of 2005, a long time ago by geocaching standards.

A summary of the changes has been posted here: http://forums.groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showtopic=156242

A link within the summary will take you to the new guideline document. Hopefully, both the summary and the full document are clear, but if you have questions I will be glad to help with clarifications to the extent I can.

I like the newly written version, especially the Letterbox Hybrid section as it's always been a bit of a pet peeve of mine.

What I wish I could have seen? The banning of LPCs, and the minimum distance between caches extended to at least .25 mile. :D

Now the hard part - how do we get cache hiders to read the guidelines??????
