I just saw this (http://forums.groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showtopic=87358) on the GC website. My thoughts and prayers go out to her and her family.

SBUX is a very prolific cacher. She is from the Lancaster, PA area and has found and hidden thousands of caches. She even has one in Maine.

We probably can't do anyting but pray, but sometimes, that's enough.

I will keep SBUX and her family in my thoughts - I hope that all turns out well for them. The thread on GC is long and moving to read. What a large community of friends exist through this great common interest.

I thought that I remembered that she had established a cache in Maine - in Kittery?

I had a limp in my throat after reading that thread. I hope they find her soon.

If you want to get any new info on SBUX, a forum member has volunteered to have a temporary mailing list where you can get notified of any new information that occurs. It is kiawa@verizon.net

Just finished reading the threads. There appears to be more to this than geocaching related but will have to wait for further info.

There appears to be no foul play involved, and she is ok. Here's what I've been able to find as of this timedate:

It is good to know she is OK, but now it still leaves you wondering where is she and is she still really alright.

Here is the latest information on Lucy.....

"Lucy has made contact again and seemed much like herself. The details are unknown, but this is now a private family affair. On behalf of everyone involved, I thank you all for your continuous thoughts, hopes, and prayers."

Hopefully all will turn out well for them - sounds like a challenging time.
