I noticed the following obituary in the paper today. Maybe someone can confirm that it is the daughter of EGSG. Our hearts go out to them.

I saw that too. I assumed that it was Ed's daughter as he moved to TX. I hope they are getting through this very tough time OK.

Sad news indeed. EGSG does stand for Ed and Sharon and they did move to Texas, so it must be them.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to them.

That is truly sad. She was my sons age. She was a beautiful girl. It brings tears to my eyes.

I hope the family is finding comfort from their friends and family at this difficult time....

Its times like these that you ask yourself,
"Have I hugged my child today?"

My thoughts and prayers go out to her entire family.

There is no emotional pain that can compare to that of having a child die.

I have this poem that I refer to often as it sometimes helps.

The Tide

The tide recedes but leaves behind
bright seashells on the sand
The sun goes down but gentle warmth
still lingers on the land
The music stops and yet it echoes
on in sweet refrains...
For every joy that passes,
something beautiful remains.

Thanks for all your kind words. Yes, that is my little girl. It's been a tough couple of months but we are doing fine. Sharon and I are visiting Maine the last 2 weeks of August. We hope to see some of you then.
I see there are a lot of new caches around Bangor
