First time posting, so I hope I am posting at the right spot. If not, please direct me to the correct place.

When I was about 8 years old, I travelled with my family from NB into Maine and we ate at a restaurant called Bartletts. My Dad always talks about this restaurant, how good the food was and how friendly the people were. I am 42 now and Dad is 85. I would absolutely love to bring him to this spot again, but I have no ide if it even exists. I wonder if someone here can help me out?

Here is all I can tell you about the place.

1. It was not too far from the NB border, probably between Woodstock, NB and Grand Falls, NB.

2. It was a very small restaurant, probably a Mom and Pop operation.

3. The cook used to work in fishing camps.

I have Googled it to death, searched Mapsource etc, all to no avail. Does ANYONE remember this restaurant or have any information about it?

I can't help you with Bartlett's. But if you are headed down Route one towards Waldoboro. There's Moody's Diner. Best food in Maine. The place is always busy. Great meatloaf! If Bartlett's doesn't exist anymore, ( and I hope it does ). Maybe you could start a new tradition. :)
