Cache Maine 10-11-2007, 10:09 AM http://www.geocachingmaine.org/gallery/data/500/mycar.jpg It wasn't me! I wonder who it is? Sudonim 10-11-2007, 10:18 AM I sure would like one of those new Toyota FJ Cruisers, but I've got some other bills happening right now... tat 10-11-2007, 11:16 AM I still prefer Trek over Toyota or Ford! firefighterjake 10-11-2007, 11:26 AM Hmmm . . . still no posts from her or better yet pics . . . I imagine we'll hear or see something by day's end though. Hiram357 10-11-2007, 01:30 PM hmmm... maybe she'll Hollar a few words about the new truck.... :D hollora 10-11-2007, 02:08 PM Oh, oh - someone blew my cover! I was hoping to slip in unnoticed - like that is likely........anyway....... Have been saving all those pennies and quarters out of caches (just kidding!). This is quite a way to celebrate 900. BTW - if anyone is in the market for a good used Matrix - mine is at Downeast Toyota - it's no frills but runs like a top. A grandbaby whose car seat pushed the Matrix's front seat up so far there was no leg room is my excuse. So yes, we have a new geomobile - it's grey like my hair so I guess we can call it the Menopause 4x4...........Hubby has promised he will not whine if I go 4x4ing with it! That's the story! http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i188/hollora/?action=view¤t=101_4942.jpg Hiram357 10-11-2007, 02:24 PM Oh, oh - someone blew my cover! I was warned though to turn off the side air bags when I went 4 x 4ing! That would have been cute - the geocrew tring to stuff those babies back in. By the end of the winter it won't be as shiny either! Hiram357 10-11-2007, 02:44 PM heee, hee - a ride with Jake proved that these units can do it. Give her time though Aaron and she'll get a few scratches and dings from rock and mud and that will take the shine right off. Now about sneaking into my yard and getting parts. . . .;) :D firefighterjake 10-11-2007, 02:45 PM hmmm... maybe she'll Hollar a few words about the new truck.... :D Now how did you figure this one out??? firefighterjake 10-11-2007, 02:47 PM heee, hee - a ride with Jake proved that these units can do it. Shucks . . . you should have come with us on the Tread Lightly events -- nothing too crazy, but we did ride a little "harder" than our ol' TGIF trips. firefighterjake 10-11-2007, 02:47 PM I just pull the fuse out... actually, i'd be suprised if mine even work still... Woo hoo - truth is with 1st hubby I used to have an old jeep - with a home made wooden cab.......it was the hummer of its time. We went on many a woods road ramble ride with it My son, Dave has actually put his Tacoma in some very unusual places. I seem to remember a roam down on the Kenduskeag stream bed I think it was - which was less than pretty. Thanks for the well wishes. I am excited about a little more capability! firefighterjake 10-11-2007, 03:01 PM Woo hoo - truth is with 1st hubby I used to have an old jeep - with a home made wooden cab.......it was the hummer of its time. Speaking of Dave . . . you might want to keep an eye on him. He said something about you not fully utilizing the 4WD features and that he would volunteer to take you out on a few outings . . . worrying about a few scratches might be the least of your concerns after reading about Dave riding the Kenduskeag sans a canoe.;) :D hollora 10-11-2007, 06:19 PM Oh, I have not question my son knows how to fully utilize a 4 x 4. He was checking out the videos on YouTube.......and that made me laugh. One of them reminded me of the day I had him (as a small child) on the back of a 4 wheeler and we pitched over the dirt hill beside his house and went right over backwards - pinning his head (Thank goodness it was in a helmet) between the fender and wheel. A wonder he wasn't killed or hurt. Boy, did I learn my lesson..........but he got hooked - you name the toy - he loves it and now - Toys for Big Boys!
