Here's an online puzzle to see if you know where all the states go.

I had an average error of 127 miles the first time, not knowing what to expect from the program, and really messing up on Arkansaw and Idaho. On the second try I did much better, 24 miles average error.

I kind of surprised myself,on the first try I got within 21 miles error.

I had an average error of 4 miles, then I dropped Ohio, and couldn't find it. 39 perfect out of 41! :D

I did in the 20's the first time and tried again and got down to an 8 :rolleyes: . I guess I can live with that.

I got 92%, 21 435 seconds. How do you find OK without any other states around it! Sheesh.

I guess the states come up in random order. Mine came up pretty good - a lot of coastal states which were easy to place.

Got in low 20's first time. About 5th time got it to 98% 2mi 369 sec. Drove big rigs for 3 years all over country, prob helped a little. Quiit while I,m ahead. ;)

Well, that was fun! It's been a long time since I thought about the relative position of our states! 88% and 25 miles for me - first time - I think I can improve on that! Dave's son said "Ha, Ha, isn't that a children's game?" Ooops - maybe he will try it!

That was fun, neat site. 90% 25 miles in 292 sec. Not bad for hardly ever out of the New England area.:)

Hey Tat, OK was good for me, but Missouri was the tough one with nothing around. Still got 18 miles in 418 seconds. Fun one.

An awesome puzzle, no one can get the same every time! I started with 84% with a 57mi error and took it back to 90%/20mi....

Okay, a little improvement! I got 92%, 17 mile avg. error and 280 seconds.

OK- I got 94%, 9 miles, 409 seconds. :p :p

I got 88% with 22 mile error in 422 secs. My First time too... I kept waiting for Albion to pop up but apparently we don't count as a state....hmmmmmm...too bad cause I know where that one is....LOL

I got 96% with an 11 mile avg. error and 48 perfect. I copmletely blew Wyoming by over 500 miles...and KY by almost 60 (and i've lived there). :)

My second time I got 49 out of 50 perfect with the error avg. down to 1 mile. (292 seconds)

First time 20 something miles second time 8 miles :)

Believe it or not......my 9 yr. old daughter had 94% 14mi. 230 sec. :eek: (49 out 50 perfect) first try.
My wife and I did much worse :(

Sheesh! Your "9 yr. old daughter" studied this in school like - last month? LOL!

Now for those of us who studied this 50-or-so years ago and got 94%, now THAT's an accomplishment! :p :p

(Of course, some of us who are 50+ have probably visited a LOT of those states, and since we started geocaching, we've visited them RECENTLY! LOL!)

80% 65mi and 429 seconds on the first try... they should make it harder and take the states off the map after you place them! the last ones were too easy! but the alaska and hawii ones were killer tough! then maine came up and i couldn't find England anywhere on the map! geeze....
