I find myself going to the same 8 or 10 websites over and over again, would any one be interested in posting some of the websites they visit that are appropriate and interesting. I want to see something new and kinda neat. And Hiram keep in appropriate!

As usual I expect that it will get derailed by a few but lets try and keep it on topic.;)

Actually I am familiar with both sites but just didn't think anyone else would be interested. Thanks for sharing though.

uh that's snow depth...not total accumulation...like there's only 15 inches out there now, but we've had more than 5 feet fall this winter so far...:p

For work, I'm working on creating a map with the locations of the tidal stations (where they measure tides) to better suit the enforcement staff in determining the spring high tide for different sites on the coast. If you're interested, when I'm done I can see how it looks as a picture saved and send it to you. It'll be created in ArcMap, do you have ArcView? Otherwise I can send it as a picture.

Whoa . . . hold me back . . . sounds like a really, really exciting place to check out . . . almost better than www.watchthepaintdry.com (http://www.watchthepaintdry.com). ;):D:rolleyes:

Well I regularly visit a couple of snowmobile forums . . . www.sledmaine.com (http://www.sledmaine.com) and www.hardcoresledder.com (http://www.hardcoresledder.com) as well as a few ATV sites (one in Aroostook County) www.atvtime.com (http://www.atvtime.com). I also will check out the local newspapers that are on-line . . . wwww.onlinesentinel.com, www.villagesoup.com (http://www.villagesoup.com) and www.bangordailynews.com (http://www.bangordailynews.com) . . . and I'll often enter a few on-line contests (although all I've ever won was a Tony Stewart hat . . . and I don't even follow Nascar . . . I was really hoping to win the limited edition Corvette!)

Of course there's always the mind-numbing game site, www.pogo.com (http://www.pogo.com).

Oh yeah, I also frequently check in with www.nfpa.org (http://www.nfpa.org) or the National Fire Academy website when I am actually working at work. ;):D:rolleyes:

I use tide stations constantly while kayaking, usually to know the exact tide level and direction, but sometimes for navigation too. Maptech's Chart Navigator and Garmin's 76c base map seem to be complete. It would be interesting to see if there are differences.

I don't have ArcView, but I'll look into getting it.
