The May Newsletter is getting pretty full, but you will be heard!
Thanks!:)
Medawisla 04-24-2008, 05:49 PM I’m wondering whether the way “Hot Topics” is organized is effective in catching your attention and getting information across…? Here’s another format I’m thinking of trying. What are your thoughts?? Thanks!

Please let me know about these changes:
1. Grouping topics by category or interest, topics in caps
2. Shortening forum titles to fit title and link on one line
3. Continuing to limit number of topics to keep newsletter short (this is done by selecting forums that remain popular throughout the month and/or has important information geocachers will benefit from knowing.
The other idea I had was introducing the link with a more descriptive title than most forum titles are, but I felt as though I’d be taking the intended title the owner of the forum gave it...but anyway, any ideas about organizing or just getting the information across efficiently would be welcome!
Medawisla 05-19-2008, 10:29 PM Now's the time to let your voice be heard!!!
June Newsletter is going to review this Thursday. Let me know what you think about the above post, please, please, please! :)
Cache Maine 05-20-2008, 06:52 AM Hiya....just curious....but could you make it so it doesn't cut off the topic sentence?
For example, the first one says, "2008 Geo," but can you make it so it says the entire thing? Clickable links would be great too...

When there sent in the news letter I believe I have been doing it so the whole link shows.
Medawisla 05-21-2008, 07:27 PM Thanks CacheMaine. Knowing that you want to read the entire topic helps. I won't cut them off then to save length in the newsletter.
However, do you like sorting them alphabetically, as they are now, or by topic, as posted here?
Thanks, attroll, they've been going out perfectly!
Cache Maine 05-21-2008, 07:56 PM I like them sorted by topic.
Medawisla 05-21-2008, 08:18 PM Sweet! I'll try it out then and see if I get any comments or complaints ;)

I myself was also wondering about the same thing. Can anyone elaborate on the affect that you guys made at the CITO in Brewer and how much trash was actually picked up. Thanks

In the June Newsletter, Hot Topics were organized by topic. I kept the full titles and the parenthetical subtitles. What'd you think?
