View Full Version : A Table For Geocachers

Lee and I have been renewing one of the extra rooms in the house and it has (or will have, there is more to come) an earthly theme that might be of interest to geocachers. So now I am thinking it might be nice to have a table like this one in there. ;)

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value=""></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

I have a few pics of the room we'd like to put it in here (

Dave, did you happen to notice a price on this little jewel?

No, but it's just a table and a projector, how bad could it be? :D

Well, Maine DLs won't work as we don't have smart card technology.

You lost me here. of course, that doesn't take much! :p

Talking on the video about swiping a Driver's License....(DL)...that would only work, I believe, with the smart card licenses. Maine doesn't have those....yet!

Don't really need one Hollora. Just zoom in manually.

If I am going to have one at my house, I don't think I need the drivers license part! I know where I live!

And our new licenses have a bar code on them, all the information on the front of the license is in that bar code, including the address. As long as the table software was set up to read it, it would work.

Yeah, unless you live in one of those tiny PO boxes! LOL AND that bar code is not compliant with many of the smart card requirements because Maine refuses to do it.

One of my neighbors works in the industry and was trying to get Maine compliant over three years ago. They refused and he moved on.

He is making good money with ID systems all over the World. Oh well.

I just need to remember to get a replacement SS card before I have to renew my DL. LOL

I'd be afraid to have one of these tables. Spill one beer and you might be responsible for flooding out an entire city!

I have wall paper like that! Ask Dubord207!
