View Full Version : While we were all sleeping.....
Team2hunt 09-14-2009, 07:45 AM Someone was up late writing logs to tell the geo community of their finds along the Moat Mountain trail in New Hampshire. Their success also included a very large milestone find and their 4000th find.
Congrats to parmachenee! I know that they have put in some long miles to find and log all of these caches. MOst of them are walks and hikes and not parking lot finds. Old school....that is the way that these 2 cache. I have been along on a few, and have had to find them the "parmachenee way".
You couldn't have 2 better people along on a find. And I'm honored to call them my friends.
squirrelcache 09-14-2009, 07:51 AM I'm not sure if this is a mile marker thread, and don't care. Congrats Frank and Charron!!! I've only had Frank along while caching once...it was when one of my party did a phone-a-friend to alert him of one of his caches that was missing. I'd be honored to cache w/these folks on a hike. Perhaps an upcoming Winter event or two ;) Cache on.......and cache Happy folks.
cachecrashers4 09-14-2009, 08:16 AM We missed you at the event the other day. Congrats on 4k!
pm28570 09-14-2009, 08:18 AM I was looking forward to seeing you at The Last Cache Bash but alas.....what an accomplishment! Congratulations! I was fortunate to CITO alongside you at Brad's event earlier this year and of course look forward to seeing you again. Perhaps at Eustis?
hide_from_the_kids 09-14-2009, 09:37 AM Congrats on your achievments
Sudonim 09-14-2009, 10:02 AM Congrats Frank and Charron! You guys always seem to have a FTF on the caches involving snowshoeing to the top of a mountain, or some other scenic, but hard to get to spot. I'll hoist a cold one in salute!
benandtina 09-14-2009, 10:40 AM Congratulations!!!

eebee 09-14-2009, 06:06 PM Congratulations, Frank & Charron! A nicer caching couple can't be found. I've really enjoyed the few times we've been out. Hope to get the chance to cache with you again soon :)
shuman road searchers 09-14-2009, 07:21 PM I have only done a couple of caches with you but I certainly had a good time. Congrats on 4000 and good luck on the next 4000!
dubord207 09-14-2009, 07:54 PM Frank and Charron don't shy away one bit from the vertical and distance challenge caches...period! And add a little snow and that doesn't slow them down either! While I wouldn't call their caching resume "extreme" it is a history of "taking no prisoners!" Great effort you two, and nice folks to boot! You guys are a credit to the Maine Geocacing community. See you in Eustis!:)
Trick or Treat 09-14-2009, 08:35 PM Amazing! Congratulations.

Kaching Karen 09-15-2009, 06:12 AM I'll be hanging out in the old folks home by the time I hit 4000. Nice job!
lexmano 09-15-2009, 07:59 AM You two are fantastic ambassadors for this activity. Also your help in my maintenance of my Brewer cache is much appreciated.
Funny its not about the numbers, it is about a way of life! You guys are living it.
Waterski 09-15-2009, 09:15 AM There aren't many people that can claim 4,000. Impressive. All those memories must be priceless. Congrats.
kayaking loon 09-15-2009, 05:11 PM A big congratulations to two of my favorite cachers! Hope to see you again soon.
vicbiker 09-15-2009, 06:47 PM I'll be hanging out in the old folks home by the time I hit 4000. Nice job!Thought you already were....LOL
EMSDanel 09-16-2009, 11:12 PM Hey Frank and Charron....
I've enjoyed the competition on several remote FTF's. I thought I had uncovered a secret when I realized that snowshoeing a mile or more to the top of a snow-covered mountain for a cache was actually easier than trying to bushwhack the same distance through the mosquitos and brush. But I was soon to discover that you and Charron already knew that. 4,000 finds....wow! You folks are spending some serious time out there. And Charron.....meet me by my chimney tomorrow morning. Now THAT should start some gossip.....!
Team Richards 09-17-2009, 05:53 AM 4000 Wow what a great time . I known we have followed you on a few caches but I don't remember that we have done any together. The snow is coming and I know you guys don't shy away from winter caching. We'll see you on the trails.
