Palate, not "pallet". ;);)

(We'll be in Boston that weekend - hope to get in our long-anticipated tour of the Sam Adams brewery while we're there.)

No, Bruce, I think he really means a pallet of sandwiches and beer!

Monday at 6:30, I think I am out regardless!

The beer at Novare Res is much more interesting than any at the Sam Adams brewery....

I wouldn't mind a pallet of sandwiches.

Perhaps... But I'd be suspect of "Belgian beer" outside Belgium. Who knows how long that stuff has been sitting on the shelf. :D:D

And "Novare Res" is a bar - not a brewery.

Ok, now, no need to get nit-picky. We're only talking beer here, it's not like it's Moxie. :p

Mainly this is on a Monday because it is the least busy day of the week for this establishment. Good bar in the Old Port on a weekend would be impossible! Especially in summer time.....

You should make sure you don't have to work on Tuesday... or get a designated caching driver! Maybe Ekidokai? I know he has RSVPed on the Facebook Event page...

While we're picking out grammatical or spelling errors in your cache listings, railroad is one word. :)

I'm guessing since the early 1800's. (http://inventors.about.com/library/inventors/blrailroad.htm)

The funny part is that I wasn't even talking about your Old Veazie Rail Road (http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=9577999d-e08b-45c9-8f7c-f0cbaf6b0892) (GC1TETW) by Ekidokai (http://www.geocaching.com/profile/?id=1790176) (2/2). I was referring to There Once Was a Rail Road (http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=b0105161-52a7-4de8-ba34-dd55fd73fb42) (GC212J5) by SeriousTool (http://www.geocaching.com/profile/?id=2288857) (4/4.5). And that only laves one cache name with railroad as two words, I've Been Caching on the Rail Road (http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=39aaa5f9-d2ea-47ef-9783-4e60fa0fffdb) (GCV2T1) by MaineRebel and GreenGoddess (http://www.geocaching.com/profile/?id=129635) (3/3). Not to mention the 21 caches that have it written as two words in the descriptions. :)

Yes, you are fine on that cache, but in Old Canada Road (http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=91ba34cb-4c6c-4c76-afd5-5d4b4f4c0948) (GCW6Y2) by WhereRWe? & RULOST2? (http://www.geocaching.com/profile/?id=166065) (1/1.5), there are occasions where you named rivers and an ocean, and did not capitalize the word river or ocean. :p:p:p

I imagine a high percentage of caches have errors on them, including my own!

Sheesh! Now I have to go and scrutinize all your cache listings! LOL!

And by the way, I'll be in Bangor tomorrow - my Dad's in EMMC - so I may stop by and give you a couple "up the side of the head". :D:D

(But sheesh!, I spelled them correctly, didn't I? LOL!)

I bet you could find a mistake or two.

I think I am actually working for a few hours in the AM (hoping I can get done by 11 or so), but if my truck is in the yard, feel free to stop by. Sorry to hear about your dad, hope he gets out soon.

I think it's a hoot that while 70% of hijacked threads turn into topics about beer, this one started out as beer and turned into an English lesson!

Mostly Continental European beers at Novare Res, although English ales and stouts are great...
