By Christmas, there will be 3 new ones. It seems like they come out with one a month.

I know someone who has recently gotten an android and has started caching. She has gone with me a few times. What program would be best for her to load into the android to make it gps compatible for caching? She needs the gps and the mapping of the cache areas and there are many that come up and we don't know much about any of them. Thanks if you can assist! Some programs are free, and some need payments and we do not know what she needs!

We have the androids and use groundspeak Geocaching app. works really well. We also have whereyougo app for the wherigo cartridges. We used that for our first wherigo "Portland Freedom Trail" last sat night and that also worked well. We could ditch the gps and cache with the droid almost as easy, Works very good and the app for geocaching is $9.99 and the whereyougo is free. Hope this helps. If you have any ?'s give me a call 730-2472 John team_barbieri

It has no memory, doesn't work in the rain, cold or heat. Gets lost in city's, open roads and woods.

But it really looks good.
