Has anyone done this? Or anyone want to do this?

I am planning -- if all goes well -- to tackle this Earthcache (as well as the other caches in Acadia NP) on Saturday Oct. 16. I figured I'd see if anyone had advice on doing it or if anyone had been looking to conquer it and wants to go along.

I'm probably going to try and get a real early start on it so I can take my time and explore a little as well.

Any tips/thoughts/interested people, please let me know. :)

Did the Earthcache a few years ago. And all the virts many years before that. They are well worth doing. Take you all around the park. Have a good time doing them.

Sounds awesome. Will I be able to do the Earthcache and all the virtuals/earthcaches in 5-6 hours? Just trying to figure how long it will take to do all those, then I can add in my additional time for photos etc. !

Only one of the virtuals on Mt Desert Island is archived. You go near at least one when doing the earthcache challenge. There is a small amount of walking to do, but nothing to strenuous.
