A new feature.
I just wonder if this note is gonna make it to my pocket query, otherwise it's useless.

The data is stored online, however, so you could view it from any computer. I agree, it is of little use if you can't get it in your PQ. There are a few other features added, which are listed in the release notes. http://forums.groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showtopic=261247 JustPJ66 10-06-2010, 05:10 PM is this just a note to oneself you can put on the cache....am i understanding that correctly? brdad 10-06-2010, 08:51 PM is this just a note to oneself you can put on the cache....am i understanding that correctly? Correct, final coords for puzzle caches, extra notes, whatever. no one else will see it. JustKev 10-07-2010, 06:51 AM Very little use for it until they add it as a field in a PQ. pm28570 10-07-2010, 08:26 AM I agree....not much to offer. However, I've made a note on one of my recent placements of what quantity the log will hold. Keep an eye on the finds and will know about when to replace the log. brdad 10-07-2010, 08:31 AM I agree....not much to offer. That is a good idea - notes for your own hides.... Fins_Up 10-07-2010, 11:02 AM I think it may be useful for multi-stage mystery caches where each has a part of the puzzle like Mapachi's James Bond series. I sometimes lose my hand written notes. EXCELLENT use! although I NEVER loose anything hehe Ekidokai 10-07-2010, 04:36 PM I agree....not much to offer. Came across one nano log that that the signer took up a quarter of it leaving a message. (knowing that you love nanos). Although nice to see some of them in notebook-type logs. |
