The web site forum software upgrade is done. I have opened the web site back up for use. I still have to upgrade the following section of the web site and will do that in the upcoming days.

Rick, not all members can see the home page. Not logged in can, But if they are in the donating member group but not in the registered member group they can not.

I see the weather for Santa Monica, CA on the Home Page. While it's nice to know how they're fairing in sunny California, it's like rubbing salt in the wound while they're at 60 degrees and we're all white here.

Hmm, I thought 4.1.2 shipped with the Mobile Style ability. All it is, is a lightweight theme. If it didn't come with it, then i'm sure someone out there has made a mobile skin.

Another question is why do you pay for this forum if there is plenty of free open source forums similar or better quality? Especially if you decided to update it.

I'm just curious if anyone has looked into free alternatives like phpBB, Simple Machines, Vanilla Forums, myBB, XMB, Viscacha, mwForum, FUD, etc? and there's entire free Content Management Systems out there like Drupal and whatnot

Are there threads that were dropped in the move? I was looking for a thread and couldnt find it.. wondering if you "cleaned house" a bit when you switched over?
