Just got a log, kind of, from a cacher that registered today. It was blank.
I usually don't care much about logs, but I did not think blank was possible.
With the extremely limited info provided in their profile and the strange arrangement of the finds today, I'm suspicious.

Looks like a case of someone new who just doesn't know. Everything doesn't have to be an ulterior motive you know.:p They did the same on another cache and the third log was just a short statement that a trackable was missing.

My guess these are from people logging via phone - the default log used to say something like "Logged from my android phone", but I am guessing they found a way or the app has been re-written to strip that out now. That's progress!
I know if I had to write my logs with my phone, they'd be shorter or empty too.
Used to be when logging through a web page, there had to be something for text in there, not sure if that is still the case or not. Let me see...
EDIT: I was right, you can't make a log containing no text through a web browser and logging on the cache page. A space will not work either. So if you're logging that way, you need a period or a smiley or some visible character. So any blank logs Are probably through a phone.
I also checked if a person could log a cache through GSAK using the new API access without any text in the log, and it can be done there as well.

I sent them an email saying welcome and asked about the logs. We will see.
