Effective 6:20 am this morning, Maine has used up it's allotment of new cache credits. For those that don't know, cache credits have been used for some time to prevent over zealous states from placing too many caches.

As a temporary measure, cache reviews are being transferred to other less fortunate areas.

And just what is today's date? Or is it just that you got up too late and other publishers beat you to it?

I am sure you all saw those caches get published from midnight on here in Maine and NH (my notifications cover over through Concord, NH.... all by random reviewers, and not MainePublisher. Threw me for a loop at first as I was running out the door on a futile FTF run (did poach five good, hard, trail caches in New Hampshire yesterday though!)

And then today.... these three caches come out in upstate New York:

All Challenge Caches that one a cacher who has published over 1000 caches can find and log! Of course, everyone and their sister who knows about the listings are logging finds on all three all afternoon.... good April Fools day fun.... and of course I logged the caches too...

Looks like no one was fooled by MainePublisher, not so sure about some other parts of the world. I hope you all had a fun April Fools day!

Nice April fools! The "transfer of wealth" theme bugs anyone when it affects them personally. LOL
