Congrates are in order! is it a boy or a girl. I'm sure you will enjoy the new gps. I know lots of people with them and none are disappointed.

I believe it's been mentioned several times:

Garmin Mapsource City Select North America.

It will allow mapping and autorouting on your GPSr.

I will share with all the folks that own 60c(s) that topo us is awesome. You can see if that cache that is next to the vehicle is going to be a bitch of a walk straight up or down but it does not auto route. For me the topo lines are more important than showing me how to get there. I thought the 115$ was well worth it. The base map that comes with the 60 series is not that good.

I opted for City Select over Topo because I also wanted to be able to use it for traveling in areas outside of Maine. Here in Maine the good old Delorme Maine Atlas is still hard to beat, the 60c Mapsource routes aren't always the best.

For topo maps we have Maptech Outdoor Navigator on our Pocket PC. For only $20 it's hard to beat. It's not the most user friendly program, but I didn't expect much for the price.
