As a spin-off topic on caching for numbers in Maine, I thought it would be interesting to create this poll.

The most finds in one day for me is 7. That was way back in 2002 when there were a lot less caches around and those 7 finds took most of the day and a lot of driving.

But only 17 finds which I still consider very respectable for Maine. I started early on a Saturday morning and went till early evening. There were quite a few grab and gos. There were also some longer hikes and multis such as "The once Frye Mtn fire tower" All in all it was a rewarding day of caching

My most in one day was 11 spanning 2 countries....of course Canada is only a 15 minute drive from where I live :)

We did 6 in one day over in New Hampshire last week but.... two of them were virtuals and none of them were very hard. I'm looking forward to a fall trip to Blue Hill/Stonington and getting 10 over a two day period.

I got 13 between noon and sunset on a trip from Augusta to Lewiston. Busy afternoon. I have got 11 in a long day a couple times, on one of those days drove over 400 miles by the time I got home.

well, in 2002 i got 10 in one day twice and in 2003 i did that again, however just a week ago in 2005 JULY, during my caching vacation in the county i did 10 on tues, 10 on wed, 4 on thurs, 6 on friday on my way home and then 2 on sunday locally for a total of 32 in one week. that is a record for me. that was plenty for me in one week, wouldnt want to burn myself out..:cool:

11... And for letterboxing... 14 in 3 hours.

Our top count is 8 in one day in NH on July 6, 2003. Six of them were first finds!

The team did 5 in one day, and we thoroughly enjoyed each one. Spending time at the cache to view the scenery, or read it's history is why we do this. :cool: :cool:
