We hit our 100th cache today! How special to have it be one of Forest Nymph's and Shadow's caches. Joe used to work with Shadow but now Joe is retired and poor Paul is still toiling in the fields :( :o . The first stage container on this cache is incredibly clever, one of the absolute bests we've seen. Nymph must have taken a long time to make the container. It takes some looking to find it.

Amazing how fast the 100th came along. With both of us now retired, the 200th won't be horribly far away.

100 is a special milestone. There are plenty more, but 100 is special for sure.

Congrats!

Yah, I thought 100 was kinda like your first kiss (and not from your mom) It was huge. I got all tingly and warm, now 200 hundred is just kinda there. It will never compare with the first one. LOL:D

We thought 100 was pretty special too. Doubt much will match it except 500 and 100 ;) but those are years away. We never even knew the "Healthy Walks Trail" was beside the Cathance River. Been over that bridge many many times and now will smile always thinking about Forest Nymph's container for the first stage of their cache. We've tried to save local caches for showing company how to cache. Can imagine the old gas tank will get a workout as we go ever farther afield. Doubt mom is going to appreciate us treking off all over VA at Christmas!

Yah, Gas is a bit of a problem lately.....

We did about 10 caches in total last weekend started around Greenville and worked our way back to the bangor area. About 70 $$$$ later we got home.

The old truck don't get much to the gallon but there are very few caches that I wont drive to if possible. Ain't that right Brad. LOL:p

Which reminds me...

Isn't it time for someone to start planning the October event? LOL!

(We're planning on another Winter Weekend Waypoint Warrior Wingding in Jan/Feb, so don't say it...) :p :p

Seems to me I just read somewhere of someone having an event at Pettengill Farms in Freeport in October or there was talk of having one there. That would be a great place for one as I have done the cache there and the grounds are really nice. It was in one of the new posts for the Muggletown Shuffle if I remember right.

Yes Triple-G mentioned a posible cache event there in Oct but I would think parking would be a problem unless they can get permission for vehicles to drive to the farm fields.
