Hiram357 09-21-2005, 09:46 PM That's this weekend right? The wife has stuff goin on in unity in the morning so we'll probably stop by on our way to some caches and grab some deep fried veggie shroom/orgranic sprout burgers (hehe) firefighterjake 09-21-2005, 09:54 PM That's this weekend right? The wife has stuff goin on in unity in the morning so we'll probably stop by on our way to some caches and grab some deep fried veggie shroom/orgranic sprout burgers (hehe) Well there's one. By the way what's your wife studying at Unity? Hiram357 09-21-2005, 10:00 PM Be aware . . . this is a loaded question.so what's the loaded part of it? shes studying enviormental policy stuff Sabby 09-22-2005, 11:08 AM My wife and I are watching the grandchildren in Oakland this weekend and we expect to take them to the fair on Sat. firefighterjake 09-22-2005, 11:40 AM so what's the loaded part of it? I was contemplating doing a mini-cache "event" for the weekend with 4-6 temporary sites if there were enough people coming into the area. At this point it sounds as though there aren't going to be all that many folks coming. attroll 09-22-2005, 11:41 AM I would love to go, but I am heading north for a moose hunting trip this weekend. blevesque 09-22-2005, 01:31 PM I would love to go, but I am heading north for a moose hunting trip this weekend. Watch out for hicks!:p Trezurs*-R-*Fun 09-22-2005, 02:23 PM We too will be heading north for a Moose hunting adventure. We are less optimistic than Attroll as we plan on being there when the Hunt opens on Monday:D . Tagging station doesn't open til then, hehe. Haffy 09-22-2005, 04:23 PM Well if it matters at all I am going to the Fair, probably Friday before all the big crowds get there on the weekend. All I'll have to contend with will be the million kids who have that day as a field day. They have some great exhibits set up and sales so that is pretty cool as always. parmachenee 09-22-2005, 04:44 PM We'll be heading to NH for the Welcome Fall & Travel Bug Swap #2 http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=c8a61639-e4d5-4e67-a563-46ab2f4e1079 and would like to see some other Maine cachers there too. It's just "South of the Border" and looks like a fun event, rain or shine. Hiram357 09-22-2005, 04:46 PM just remember... when you go don't bathe for the whole week prior to the fair, or else theyll know youre not from around there :) (and wear your tye dye shirt!) WhereRWe? 09-22-2005, 06:54 PM We're currently in Chicago, thinking seriously of going caching in NASHVILLE next week!!!   LOL! (No - we have no shame...) :p :p :p firefighterjake 09-23-2005, 10:00 AM Due to the small number of folks coming up and my lateness I will most likely not try to do a mini-cache event this time around. |
