Is it possible to chat from msn to yahoo or across any two chat programs? If so how?

You got my PM so now you know Trillian (http://www.trillian.com) is one solution. I have been using it for about 9 months now and it works very well for my needs. I have AIM,Yahoo,MSN as well as IRC Chat all on one buddy list. They are distingushed by different colored icons. And you can change someones online name to a cacher name or some other familiar name.
