It's very cool to see an item of some personal significance travel the world, only being assisted by the generosity of others. Thus, I've compiled a lists of various services that enable this.




Check these out! You're not limited to just Groundspeak's offering.
If anyone else knows of some other services, post it in the comments and I'll add it to the list.

    I received a geocachingmaine.org 2005 Maine's first geocache geocoin as a first to find prize and was requested to "start it". I see the link to coin tracking and logging but I don't see any links to the activation for this coin. Can anyone direct me to the site?

    What number do you have?

    I have geocoin number GC128.

    I already tried using that site but it put the 2006 GC128 in my hands, mine is the 2005. I don't know if that log can be deleted or not. There must be another site for retrieving activation codes and registering unactivated coins.

    It looks like you did the right thing. There was never a 2006 coin produced. The only coins trackable at geocachingmaine.org are the 2005 coins.
