I have been in touch with our friend TRF who is in Austrailia on a wild game hunt with his Dad and he just visited this cache and thought it was pretty cool.

I told him he should make a side trip and do the blair witch cache... but it's too far... and this is off of the cache page on gc.com, who else thinks it's a little odd...
"NW 9904.7mi from your home coordinates."
Wow, that would be a great trip. Australia is one of the few places in the world I'd have much interest in visiting outside of the U.S..
It does sound odd, but if you had a globe and were to take a string and put one end on Maine, and the other end at the cache, I think you would find NW would be the shortest direction.Quote:

TRF dropped our Boomerang TB at that cache !!! Total TB mileage 10867.8mi :D
TRF Picked up Boomerang at Winslow Winter Weekend Waypoint Warrior Wingding 2 and has been caring for it since then. Boomerang's mission was to travel to Australia. TRF told us he was headed that way in August and could help this bug get to its destination. Thank you TRF for giving this bug a helping hand!! We can't wait to see the adventures of this bug from down under :)
