Speaking of southerners....LOL Just got my transfer papers, will be transferring to Gainesville Georgia with my job on May 24th. Just missed Rick and his jaunt by 2 months...lol
Of course there are always lawyer jokes . . . we're on pretty safe footing there, right? ;)
What's black and tan and looks good on a lawyer?
A doberman.
Just realized my quip may have been for naught . . . isn't this the week dubord is cruising in the Carribean?
Sure is and one of his caches on Yorktown is missing.
it isnt 1,2,3 or 12 because we got those a couple of days ago
Do you dare question me? 5
Evilhomer, glad to see you read my log! I was wondering what others thought of these. I don't get on here often as I usually cache from the phone. I see that one of them is having a hard go of it as I have been there three times and its been muggled everytime. Has anyone contacted them and give them a heads up on the hoods in the city???
I had a long post written and lost it - Evilhomer has some good points - and I need to read avemery's log. Second street park is well known for it's drug activity and dealings.............and the list goes on. Bangor Parks in town are not prestine places and not places where I would go cache hunting with my Granddaughter. For some, these places might be fine - but then again, let the hunter beware.
Di and I completed our trip Saturday. Had a great time but unfortunately I got off the ship with strep throat, something that was apparently "going around" on that cruise. I'm not over it yet and will stay home again today after a hard night last night.
But bring on the lawyer jokes! You shouldn't be surprised that I've heard most of them.
I'll get out and replace the missing Yorktown cache soon. I've disabled Apple a Day for the time being. Hard to imagine that the cache was muggled but there's no other possible explaination as those of you that have found it will understand.
Glad you're back to fix that on Yorktown. JustPJ66 and I grabbed our 100th on that series but her knee was bothering after having done the Spectacle Pond Series so we stopped at #3. Next time we try it we'll have my truck instead of her van or we might even load the ATV in the truck just for the Yorktown series so she can get them all with me.
So Mr. Dubord.....you got off the ship with strep throat? Everyone knows you should never board a ship that has strep throat, always pick a healthy one. But it occurs to me: that cruise line must have been reckless and negligent, causing egregious harm to you and other passengers. Unlimited pain and agony, loss of wages, and loss of consortium! Willful and wanton derelict of duty on thier part! What would any other reasonable and prudent cruise line do? How many other passengers suffered this same horrific outcome? I see a class-action suit here......=the international sign for strep throat.
I've sent Joe Bornstein south as my representative. He says that when he's done with Royal Caribbean, I'll own the damn ship! Problem is, he wants a third of the ship! The bow has the best bars but the engines are in the stern. I'm not certain this is going to work out......:D By the way, you left out loss of enjoyment of martini's which doesn't seem to go well with Tussinex. Loss of consortium, I'll let you know later tonite!
hah, I'll never forget the look on the cops face when he said "well, where is it?" and I said "where's what?" "The rubber chicken?" and as I pointed and said "oh, it's in the sign" heh, that's an image that will forver be in my memory. Ah, the great things we experience while geocaching.... :D:D:D
