Ummmmmm, isn't Unity EAST of I've Found My Thrill???????
Or did you mean I've Found My Thrill was westerly of the photo location?

I knew it looked familiar! Stef and I were just canoeing on that river last weekend, we were helpin out with the duck race, keeping all the ducks in a row! :D I'll post a new pic in a few (gotta run some time sensative errands first) :D
Nope, you're thinking right . . . I've Found My Thrill is in Jackson and I believe that would make Unity to the west of that cache . . . I'm just kicking myself since I thought the pic looked familiar, but couldn't quite place where it was -- one of those I did a long, long time ago (well two years ago seems like a long, long time ago!)
Ok, TRF - you were right, and I was wro... well, I was almost right. I got "I've Found My Thrill" confused with the archived cache "I Found My Thrill......................", which was close to the location of Smitty & Co.'s cache "Bluebery Hill", which is in Rome.
Odlly enough I have been to both caches (DNF'd on the one in Rome), and found the one you mentioned, but I had forgotten.
And yes, "Almost right" still qualifies as wrong!
This will be an easy one for those that remember the story that goes along with this cache... while we were waiting we made a sign for any search and rescue planes that might be flying over at the time...

Race was good, the water was low and slow, so we had our work cut out for us, while I was manuevering the canoe like kyak to get the stranded ducks and stef had a big fishing net to catch em and toss em back into the current. We didn't win, the BBQ after was great, and the rain held off just long enough for us to get everything cleaned up and put away. :D
(she's not counting the hours, i think she's more stressed than excited)
Would that be TRF's Branch Pond cache GCRZVE where you accidently locked your car keys in the Jeep? ;) What and no Beer?.....Must have been a verrrrrryyyyy long wait...lol
This should be an easy one but what year and where was it?

What an ugly mob!! :p :D :D :D
what yerar and where is not hard, glad you don't want to name names!
Well it wasn't last year because we aren't in the picture:(
Ok so I'll say 2004 since One man Team isn't taller than Dad yet. Hampden, Last Cache Bash
Close enough but it was 2005. Go for it!!! I didn't take a group photo in "06" or "04"
Ok, probably easy for those who have been here.
I looked at that picture and thought "What is she on, that's like 100 other fields in Maine, little bald spot down below, then some trees, then some mountians, apple tree in the way on the left.... oh wait! apple tree in the way on the left! I just took a picture where there was an apple tree in the way on the left!"
Moe's Mountain Cache (GCY5A3) by Hanson Road Explorers (1/1.5)
Thi is one of those spots where the a picture doesn't do the actual view justice. Good easy cache as well.
I didn't see a view like that when I was there. My guess would be not that one. But then again I don't have a guess either on that one. I was thinking maybe Mt. Agamenticus.
I knew that Brdad would get it! You were there just a couple of weeks before us. I was hoping Msteelee would get in on the game. I almost did the rock in the tree but Fudd said that was too obvious. Moe's Mountain..
Lee was working so I got it first. Ya snooze, ya lose.
Ok, I hope I remember correctly where this one is....

Rats I've been there too and looked around inside but can't remember where in the heck it was. Was low tide too.
I was going to guess Mini Congo Cache but then I saw the boat in the bottom of the picture and neither brdad or haffy have been to it.
Whos going to CITO that one??? :D
Sounds like a job for the Rescue Rangers!
I'm glad you saw it too, haffy, to confirm I know where it is.
I should be right anyway, and if I am, you have been there Fudds, and Hiram has not.
Also IIRC, the cache was not right next to the boat, and there may have even been a different path you could take and never see the boat.
Took me a few minutes to go back over some of my older cache finds. This was the type of cache I really liked as well. It was adopted by the BRLT after I informed them of some of Pike Patrol's caches falling into disrepair and they in turn got in touch with them and decided to adopt all of their caches on their land trusts. The Gregory Trail is just one of many nice caches in the area now maintained by the BLRT. It is called "ONE,IF BY LAND " GC16CO. Thanks for bringing me back there Dave.
I liked this cache. It's one of the caches near Boothbay harbor that I found on my FIRST day of caching, way back in '03. Haffy beat me to it while I was trying to find which cache it was :)
You're right, John. Your turn. I was mistaken - I wish I had looked at the cache images to be sure. I was right about the weekend. I got it confused with Back Cove Quest.
This spot you will go by on your way to the cache which is close by.

I've even heard about cacher owners who haven't been able to find their own caches without the help of their friends! Well, one anyway - hehehehe  :o  ;) :D
Well they say that's what friends are for, right? ;)
You betcha!!!!
:D
You betcha!!!!
:D
Either interest is waning or there aren't many photos to be posted so I'll give you a hint for those who wish to continue with this thread. There is the word...KEY....in the cache name.
