So where was everybody? This was the weekend of great weather, great company, and A GREAT BEER FEST!! We spent Saturday afternoon putting away some of the best micro brews Maine has to offer. With the great weather the place was literally packed to capacity. There were food vendors and music, and 23 Maine brew masters to share their talents of how well the beer in Maine can be. My favorite was the Laughing Loon from Oak Pond Brewing. After wards we hit Main street Bar Harbor for some of the local nightlife. You all missed a good one!Quote:

We celebrate one year of beer with a beer, mussel, Belgian frites and music fest all over our property. Starts @ 6pm. we'll be pouring 14 of our beers, some we've saved from batches long gone. The Pemaquid Mussel crew will be here with lots of mussels that we'll be steaming, baking, frying and smoking. Music all night and our first crack at Belgian frites, with mayo and all the sauces.
This is in Belfast Maine.
