If he could get his Jeep up there, I would have loaded the 36 bundles of shingles in the Jeep (several trips that is, took four 800 pound trips for me in the Subaru back and forth to Home Depot, headlights shining up in the trees...)

IIRC, You have to pay for them to deliver. However, the other lumber yards will not only deliver, but they can boom them up to the roof for you. But probably not on Sunday.
