Looking at Rick's journal, I see that he has mail-drop locations listed. I assume that he'll check all these locations when he passes through.
Perhaps GeocachingMaine.org members would like to send him a card, or something.
We've had a lot of new members lately, so I remind them that Rick - ATtroll - is the webmaster for GeocachingMaine.org, and is currently doing a hike of the Appalachian trail - the whole way.
Wish him luck!

Yeah and it sucks that I can't update my account in here so I can edit my posts. I didn't know when my subscription ran out to renew it.

This is the first time I have been able to log on since I started my hike. I am in Atkins, VA right now. I am at mile 536 or somewhere close to that. I am doing good. My mail drops on my journal site should be correct. I am about two weeks behind schedule but I am doing good. It looks like I will take a zero day tomorrow (day off), my hiking partner Hopper is sick so I will wait for them to see if Hopper will get better, keeping my fingers crossed.
I have no clue when I will be able to log back in again. If I do a zero day tomorrow then maybe I can walk over here and log back in. If not, thank you all for the support.
Woohoo, great report!
Sheesh! Two weeks behind schedule? And only about 25% of the trip behind him...:eek:
Has Rick posted a schedule anywhere? I haven't seen one...
There are no places for me to put dates in the listing. I don't even know when I will be at those mail drop locations right now, they are to far ahead. I do not nead anything sent to me but if anyone does want to send something the best thing to do is to keep track of where I am on the trail and try to guess where I will be and send the package or envelope a week or two prior to when I will be there.
I hope this helps some.
