Aaron, Didn't you bring some home brew to Ricks's pig roast last year. As I remember it was quite good and I drank quite a lot of it.:rolleyes:
Yep and it was good too if I must say. It was an Alligash type of ale I believe.
sounds like like the beginning of an interesting event, Homebrew caching, it could start out at Bootleggers :D
I'll second that reccomendation for the Hop Shop. Small store, but with a good selection fo both ingrediants and equipment. Natural food stores often have some things for brewing, but its always a side-line for them, which usually means old stale ingrediants on a shelf under a thick carpet of dust. (Anyone who has tried to purchase ingrediants at a certain store in Orono during the last year will know what I mean)
I also second the reccomendation for NorthernBrewer.com if your living in an area without a dedicated supply shop. The live yeast cultures which you get with their kits are a huge improvement over the dried yeast packets with the "coffee can kits".
