How come my pages no longer show and edit button?
I hope the person in the truck was ok. Sorry to hear about your cache tho. They will have the GRC up again before long.
That was one heck of a hit it looks.
I'm glad no one was getting the cache at the time.
That is one of my fears regarding caches near the road.
And no, my theory is not that the magnets in the caches draw vehicles to the guardrail. :D
I feel the same way about someone being nearby, and feel bad that two folks lost TBs. It was definately a hard hit. They never hit the brakes until the vehicle had already impacted. I too have thought about the caches near the road and safety, and get this! This one was Wheelchair accessable because it wasn't near the road, it was wrapped around into a parking area! Wow! Whoever hit it took out 20 feet of GR, put up last summer.
Mainiac1957 Will you or may I post the new name you came up with for my cache?
Sure Sue, the weird stuff I say isn't copyrighted...
Mainiac's new name for my cache, when it gets re-established: "Best lil crash by a dam site!" LOL! I like it!
Sooooooooooo.... has this become Maine's newsest underwater cache? It could be, just post new coords....:D
Now there's a thought!!! I will change the attributes to "requires scuba gear!" Hoping to take a kayak down stream and find it this weekend.
Had to temp arch the Snoring Parrot tonight too as they are tearing out the bridge he "perched' on until mid oct! 2 in one week is a lot to temp arch when I have only 16 and only for a couple months!
