Merenner strikes 2000!!!
Sooner or later Maureen will log the 5 caches she found yesterday morning to reach 2000! :)I cannot wait any longer, let the congratulations begin.:D
Maureen moved back to this area as an experienced cacher a couple of years ago. I remember when she started showing up at FTF runs and as she swept up most of my Southern Maine caches.
I took her around Lewiston-Auburn before Gob-ler's 2008 Elf for Day event so that the event could be her 1000th find. Dawn from Trick or Treat and I were pleased to accompany her up and down the Rocky Hill powerline series of 5 caches in Westbrook yesterday morning to get her to 2000.
Again congratulations Maureen, glad to have been there for a lot of these finds. :)

Aww shucks guys. Thanks for the kudos. I have had an awesome time getting to 2000. I have met some wonderful people along the way, and that is what has been the best part of this game.
As far as my favorites, tough one. My most memorable one was in Alaska, called You Gonna Eat That?. Got treed by a moose, and I gotta tell, this city girl ain't no tiny little thing hauling ass up a tree.
