Networking Palms in a school

I was hoping that someone would know of a web site that would help me attach a palm to a school PC. I have all the software loaded and I have the updates done. I think it's a rights issue but I can't get them to work togeather. I can log in as admin and it works fine, I log in as a user and I can get it to work.

Any suggestions or good web sites would be helpful
