Geohiding Supplies
I have a cache in Sidney that I have disabled. The issue is that it takes a contortionist to get to the cache. I have since added magnets to the container and I am replaceing it today. (An idea I first came accross on one of Mapachi's caches, Thanks Pat) :)
I purchased the magnets at a craft store in Waterville and I'm not really that thrilled with them. They did not seem too strong so I used a lot of them in order to make sure the cache is secure.
Does anyone know of a local (Central Maine) store that sells quality items to assist in the creation of caches? I found some stuff online, but it would be nice to support a local store, even if it's a chain.

If you get the magnets at craft stores, look for the rare earth or neodymium ones. They will be silver in color. The ceramic and other man made types, usually black or brown don't make the cut.
Old Hard drives are another source of neodymium magnets.

Tru Value Hardware stores usually carry them.

I have few magnet out of old hard drives if you need some.

I get mine at the Wal-Mart craft section....the silver ones like brdad says. Or any craft store.

I get mine from a guy on ebay. These babies could hold up an elephant.!
