Steph, Steph, Steph . . . It's not about the numbers . . . it's about the fantastic stories, the great advice found here, the comraderie and support of fellow geocachers and of course all those great I-can't-believe-that-happened-to-Hiram stories . . . well that and how often can we derail a thread. ;):D
ahhhh!!! I don't even want to imagine what that would be like... But a very low news source of mine dug up this photo... is it bigfoot... or is it FFJ.... Is FFJ bigfoot?? and why is bigfoot running from that hottub!!!

My plan worked!!!:D I got you all to post, muhahahahahaha:cool:
'cause you're right, it's about all the laughs we give each other online and on the trails! :D:D:D
I was laughing at Mainiac's AAAGGGGHHHH!!! and then I scrolled down and saw Hiram's depicition, and then I screamed AAAGGGGHHH!!!!:rolleyes: and laughed harder! :D:D:D
0.08 HA ... I got a long ways to go! But hopefully when this snow finally goes away I can get out there and start .... I got my GPS for xmas but haven't been out yet because I have never done it before and well I didn't necessarily think winter was the best time to particularly start...I was hoping to get out this weekend because the snow had finally disappeared enough to go out and about and then we get more snow this week and weekend! UGH!
Each season has its own obsticles...
I find that caching in the winter is ok as long as there is a good hint. In the spring its mud season and we should stay off muddy roads. You also have bug season(spring) I would rather stay home and cache in the winter. Summer and fall are the best times but remember that fall has hunting seasons and we want to be respectful of that besides we dont want to get shot.
So to make a long story short. Get out there and try it. Worst case is that you dont find it. Or you become addicted a few months earlier and start missing work to grab a first to find.
Yeah there are a few I think I've figured out where they are so and they are pretty out in the open so maybe i'll try them tomorrow morning...
I'm going to get bad enough to miss work?!? Oh lord...good thing I work for family then! :)
Glad you're with us! Yes it is addictive, I swear there should be a warning lable with the GPS or something!!;)
Don't forget about the events, those are great starting points. Like the WWWWWW4 event; get some advice and know-how from some oldies, meet newbies, and join us for a snowshoe caching adventure afterward!:D:cool:
Lets see if this one puts me at 1 per day or not.
I guess I just don't have as much to say as some folks.
Does this make me a blabber mouth... since I am over the 1 post per day. I wasnt talking to you Hiram:D:p
Well it's been quite awhile since I've been to my profile page . . . so I went there and discovered that I'm quite garrulous as I have been averaging 2.53 posts per day.
I also discovered that 72 people are apparently stalking me as 72 folks have checked out my profile . . . including Dubord, Hiram, Medawislalalala, Sudonim and two other geocachers whom I've never met -- Opalsuns and Qwickcache.
Finally, I have finally made a friend here as Mainiac1957 for some reason wanted to be my friend . . . I'm still not quite sure what it means to be my friend, but I've added him since he requested it. Boy, I sure feel loved. . . .;):D
No one but me wants to be your friend. That's so sad. Of course since you graced me with your presence at my birthday how could I not.:p:rolleyes:
