I've been playing with my gpx files and thought a few of you might like to see how caches vary by county. This data is about a week old, so it is missing only a few caches.

As always I enjoy reading these stats . . . but you have way too much time on your hands! ;)

So if I happen to put out another cache in Waldo County will that put my County in the top 5 counties for caches per square mile? ;) :D

Actually in all seriousness I am working on two new ones -- one in Penobscot County though and one in Waldo County -- I just need time to get there and get the coords x 3 . . . and time to work on the cache hide (especially on one in Waldo County.)

Anybody place one is Cumberland county yet?

Every 3.81 miles huh? You could even find one down there with a Magellin :D

You can also see where there are high populations, there is a tendency to have more micro caches as well, probably do to the lack of suitable hiding places for traditional size caches I would assume.
