Congratulations to Geocaching Maine's
1000th registered user,
Welcome to our website!
Where do you get 1000 members from? My front page says 985....
And Oddly enough, if I go to the members list, it shows 912 results...
Hmmm....
Either way, welcome to the place to be for Maine Geocaching, Hide from the kids!
Edit: Ok, nevermind. I see where you got 1000 from. I guess a few have been deleted, or there's something wrong with the counting software....
Early on, when the website began there was a little bump in the road with this... The way to tell is from the profile....if you look in the address bar, it reads...http://www.geocachingmaine.org/forum/member.php?u=1000
That's my story!
And what does the lucky 1000th member win? :)
Welcome aboard -Hide From the Kids!
Hey wait a minute, what do I get? I was the one who invited them to the website when I saw their post on the GC forums and they asked for some help. I also had noticed that the cache that they had placed in Gardiner, the Milky Way cache, was in need of some attention and I contacted them through their profile and extended an invitation to them.
Way to go Haffy...
******clapping******
I havent heard from them since inviting them to the website so hopefully they will continue to enjoy it here and make it part of their geocaching repetoir
So why the difference in members count versus members?
Oh and welcome aboard!:D
Maybe what Cameo should have said was that this was the 1,000th registered user on Geocaching Maine. The reason it says 825 registered users on the front page is because that is how many actual members we have registered on the web site now. This does not include the ones we deleted for various reasons. Somewhere along the line we deleted 15 users
I stand corrected and have updated the first post....sheesh! :D
Thanks for the warm welcome and thanks to Haffy for the referral.
I have used your mapping tool for awhile now but never the forums.
If all the muggles would go away we would be set with the Milkyway cache. We have tried to reset it three times. It was there before we were pounded with snow but disappeared in spring clean up. I just need to get there at 2 am and then I *might* be set :)
We have a mapping tool?
Your welcome and hope to see you as a regular part of this forum as well. I would suggest on your Milky Way cache to maybe find another hiding place for it nearby and maybe get it off the ground some.
What mapping tool are you referring to anyway?
