I'm up for an Etna bog search . . . I tried it once last year with a friend and he became convinced that our coords had to be off . . . whereas I became convinced that we were getting close, but since this was his first time out I agreed to cut the search short and log a DNF.
Yeah, I need to get my act together and tackle Etna Bog this winter....but it needs to be very cold, very frozen and very little snow....then I'll go. Maybe.
I usually keep the nearest 975 caches in both my 60CSx and my Dell Axim. I have queries set up for almost everywhere I might go to out of my local area and can switch and download the new info in less than 5 minutes. I usually delete all but points which I'm saving (who wants to restart a 5 leg/5 mile multi?) before downloading the new info, even if it's for the same area. Way back when this was a good practice, but probably not very necessary anymore. I always leave at least 25 waypoints available during each download.
