Looking at some things on the GC sites maps I see we have gone back to the very old satellite view. Way over ten years old.
I am wondering why? Is there no way for them to get that other mapping software to work smoothly? Paying for the gold membership should get something better than ten year old maps.
They removed the Google maps a few months ago if that's what you're talking about. Google upped their rates on the maps and gc.com wasn't going to pay it. But they put them back for premium members, you may have to choose it from the map preferences button on the map page.
I don't want the goggle maps. Those are the satellite views that are over ten years old. I also asked GC and they just gave me the form response.
I would be ashamed if I were running the joint and could not get something better than ten year old maps on such a site like theirs.
