Toot away! You've come a long way in a short time; glad you are having fun.
For reference, I found 3 caches my first month and it took me 1 year, 1 month, and 16 days to find my first 165 caches!
But, I was every bit as excited as you are! Well, maybe almost as much!
On the day I found my 165th cache, there were 394 caches that had been placed in Maine, 38 of which had been archived, leaving 356 available.
As of today, 4838 caches have been placed in Maine, 1034 of which have been archived, leaving 3804 available!
One interesting fact of that day is there were only 19 micros, less than 5%! Today, there are 1282 micros available (33%), not counting the 252 which have been archived!
Now that's a great start, regardless. I have no idea how many I did the first month, in fact, you kind of loose track although when you approach 500 you'll "kick it up a notch" and when you get to a thousand....well time to call ESPN!
This is a fun and addictive game and you are obviously one of the rising stars. Keep up the great effort and we look forward to your next milestones! Now that you've seen 165, I bet you have some ideas on caches you can design and place. That's another fun and rewarding part of the game.:):):)
That is one great month!! It took me 2.5 months to get my first 165. Dubord is right! As I approached 500 I kicked it up a notch and now I have the bug for 1000! Again, congratulations!!
I looked, and it took me about a year and a half to get my first 165. My how times have changed.
Wow great start. I've been at it 2 years and have 169. Very impressive!!!!!:)
Great job, not only have you found that many but you also have some pretty cool caches that you have place.
