Too bad it's gone. Great views from the top! (I understand that liability issues can trump a cool view but too bad anyway)

...and chalk up another country cached in. Gotta keep collecting those so I can log Cano's world traveller cache!
I'd love to go, went to the last two and had a great time. Busy at work and closing the store for a week in May for vacation time with Kim means work all summer!
I'm glad that GC is making money. It would be tough to convince several dozen people to work on my source of entertainment for 40 hours a week for free!
That is something I hadn't thought about, but I'm glad someone else did!
...and X marks the spot:p

...and Mapachi, the big B...Batteries:D
Why do you need to type so fast. I thought you had 'people' to do that stuff for you:p
I bet he has a really loud cannon he could "salute" you with:eek:
From what I've read about the MRAPs, they are so heavy that there is talk that they will be abandoned once they are no longer needed in-country. The cost of airlifting them is scary, 10x the cost of...
If it was in a guardrail, you would have to hunt to find the guardrail!!!
(Kinda like finding a small container in a railroad display, just saying...) :D
The Antonov Design Bureau made some big stuff!
Worlds largest turbo-prop, largest flying aircraft, etc. The AN-22 looks like a C-130 on steroids with 4 double props!
You mean the AN-124, the Russian version of the C5 Galaxy? I've seen them in Bangor.
The AN-224 was never built, they got rid of the rear cargo door in the design and called it the AN-225.
IIRC...
I thought the red birds were your favorite:p
I still have 4 of them available. I think the confusion was that Eki bought some of the other pathtags I had here, I still had the GCMaine tags.
and you are definitely his elder:D:D:D
According to their website, the closest one is on High St. in Ellsworth, right at the triangle.
Nothing in the island.
You know, I wasn't going there, but...
Well, it SOUNDED big, but with the low cloud ceiling, I couldn't see it fly over my shop :(
Sure, throw facts in my face! My hearsay was more interesting:)
BTW I like the flight tracker site. Looks like the plane is leaving at 1:10pm for Minsk
Actually, there are two, but only 1 flying. The last time I read about it, the other one was rotting at some airport and they used it for parts for the one 225 flying.
I still have a few here if anyone is looking.
Had a favorite last night. Pepperoni and jalapeno pizza from Tri-City in Bangor.
Congrats to the new board! All a good bunch (of what I'm not sure...)
Now, where do I file for my retirement pay?
I was wondering too.
