I will be able to make it although I will need a ride from the parking area because my car isnt the offroading type. :) I wish it was though.

I would love to go after these caches as a group. My days off from work are Sunday and Monday.
After doing a few of those caches I do have to agree the locations are kinda sketchy and I am not sure how long they will last in those locations. Its unfortunate that these areas are not the most...
Does anyone know if there is a cache by the two trains that were left out in the woods by Eagle Lake up north? I heard there was but couldn't find one on geocaching.com. Its on my list of places to...
aww Thank You :) I didn't think I would get past 100 in a year...amazed I got past 500. Thanks Corey for all the help, wouldn't have been able to do it without our trips to the SMR. Let's see if I...
I agree that photocopying the back cover of the Delorme is an easy way to keep track of which squares you have done. I highlight the completed ones...although alas there isn't that many...
aww I will be stuck at work that day. :( What is the GC code for the NE Centrum Challenge Cache?
I'll be going since I missed the last tour. Would be nice to see the view of the city from up there. :)
Oh Creepy! Never heard of Riceville!
Yeah I would like to do this one as a group too at some point this summer :)
Masterson of the Universe and I went to the Stud Mill Road today and found 112 finds. Now we will have to wait to log all those finds... :(
LOL...well that has to be the most random thing I've heard all day...nude geocacher
I reached my goal a lot sooner than I expected. I hit 100 Finds while on vacation in Maryland. I guess my new goal will be 200 by the end of 2009. :)
haha that would be quite an event :)
Yes just make sure you make a reservation first at Smuggler's Den and yes unfortunately for some you can buy more tickets or make friends with the brewmaster ;)
Wonder if there are any microbrew...
http://www.acadiachamber.com/oktoberfest.html
It hasn't been updated for 2009, but I believe this year will be the 14th year. Pretty much every Maine micro brewer attends.
I realize its not Maine related, but I wanted to ask if anyone could recommend a good geocache to visit in the Washington DC area. I am sure a lot of us travel so I thought I would ask the question....
a good beerfest is the one in Southwest Harbor, ME for Oktoberfest where all the Maine microbrewers attend and after you drink your fill you can pass out in your own tent. I always thought the one in...
hehe probably not good that this thread has turned into all Doctor Who...although I bet in England there are some Doctor Who related geocaches.... :)
I can understand why Eccleston only did one season, he was worried about getting typecasted like Tom Baker did and I think if he did more he probably would have been since he fit the role so well.
So do I pass? I do own a Tom Baker scarf...and I will admit I was happy when the new series included an episode that had Cybermen vs Daleks! maybe I should make a Doctor Who cache...
hehe...I would have to say Tom Baker was the best Doctor....but with the new series I did think Eccleston did a great job even if he only did one season...
I agree with hating nano's....and caches that are not kept up to date...just found out today that a stage is missing in Alex's Monster Multiple Nightmare (Nightmare #2) (Multi-cache) after a nice...
I guess since the cache does exist I will give it another try.
I was wondering if anyone knows if this cache is still active. I tried emailing Team Nirvana but I have not heard back. I know a few of us recently went looking for it in the City Forest and we could...
