I'm glad I wan't the only one having the problem. Got it figured out now. Thanks.
Good idea, but I bought it online and I have already put on a screen protector. Not worth the hassle at this point to save a few bucks.
It's called Army Barracks. 30 cal cans are $5 and 50 cal are $7. They also have larger sizes, but they get a little expensive.
Thanks ribnag, I got everything installed ok.
Wow, now I can easily generate all kinds of useless personal stats, pretty interesting.
Here are my stats:...
Some of the best geocaching of the whole year is coming up. Cooler days, less mud on the trails, and best of all fewer mosquitoes.
That program looks interesting, and I have tried to install that program before, but during the install process I get I message that I need to install .NET framework version 1.1.4322. I have no idea...
Well, that sucks. I just bought my 60csx a couple of weeks ago.
We went paperless about a year ago and I can't imagine ever going back. I have come a long way from printed cache sheets, printed topo maps, and my Garmin 12. We are using GPX Sonar on an Pocket...
I updated last night and got a great lock on #51. Great to have WAAS back again. I had 15' accuracy under less than ideal conditions.
I'm glad that Garmin finally got the WAAS issues worked out. Maybe I will get my 60csx updated tonight. The 60csx gas great accuracy with the WAAS off, it will be interesting to see what a...
I have been very happy with XM. It came with our car and I was totally hooked by the time the 3 free months were up. (I used to scoff at satellite radio because I never thought I would pay for...

Garmin City Select might be a better choice than Street Atlas even though it is more expensive. You can upload the maps from City Select to your GPSr and take advantage of the auto-routing...
Glad you got this to work. I guess I know who to ask questions now if I have any problems.:) I can't wait to try out the POI loader, it looks a great new tool. I have a lot of waypoints that I...
The Garmin 60c is a great unit. I have been very happy with mine.
Glad to hear you are pleased with your 60csx. The improved reception is one of the main reasons we decided to upgrade, since we had a chance to sell our old 60c to a friend. It is amazing to see the...
With your 60csx you actually can have as many waypoints as you have space to save on your mircoSD card. You just have to upload your geocaches with Garmin point of interest (POI) loader. (see link...
Wow! Great new feature. It worked great for me. That sure beats getting a bunch of PQ's and then having to filter them with GSAK.
Here is a quick GSAK filter I ran. This is a list of possible kayak caches within 60 miles of Portsmouth, NH. I haven’t looked at the descriptions of the caches, but the names imply that many may...
In GSAK go to filter and there is a tab on the right named "arc/poly". Click on that tab. There is a button "load from file". Click on that and pick the .csv file for the map # you want to filter. ...
Looks pretty good, I think you are almost there. I just found one error. It looks like 51.csv is wrong, it looks like a copy of 50.csv.
Thanks for taking all the time to put this together for...
Unfortunatly, that cache is probably still out in the woods somewhere as geo-trash.:(
Thanks, I was beginning to wonder if I was totally missing something.
Gpsfun posted a note on April 19 about archiving the cache, but hasn’t archived it yet.
