Good to be back. I don't cache too often now because we are so busy with all the kids sports but I still enjoy getting one here and there.

I have c:geo installed and have been looking at that. This is all new to me. I have been using my pn-40 for years but recently got a smart phone so I want to give it a try with that. Thanks for the...
What is the best android geocaching app? How much data does it typically use? I have a 2 GB plan.
No summer plans yet. I would love to attend another mega this year. One in Canada sounds fun. I don't have any finds up there yet
I really enjoy reading the posts here and responding. The more contributors, the more fun it is. Hopefully it will pick back up. I see there are a lot of voyeurs from the number of views vs. the...
I used to enjoy all the discussions and information that was shared here. Now I check-in here and sometimes it is a full week and there are no new posts. What happened? I still post responses here...
Looks like fun. I used to live in GA. I lived in southeastern GA down by Jacksonville. I always thought it would be fun to go back there and go caching.
Nice job! I only have one myself. Hopefully I will pick-up one from Canada this year.
Does anyone know if the Stud Mill Road is still open? I am considering heading up that way to grab some of those caches. I went up in the Spring and the road was closed.
Congrats! I enjoyed having dinner and chatting with you at the Mega.
Sad but at least he was doing something that made him happy.
There are 19 caches out there now and room for a few more. I have cached out there and I actually run on the trails there. It is a great spot.
I have placed 4 caches on the trails behind the school in China. I got permission from the teacher who manages the school forest. It was quick and easy and they were very happy to have us do it.
Thanks everyone. I didn't find any pathtags in the Bahamas but I did leave mine there.
We spent the day there. It is a beautiful place. We swam with the dolphins and hit the water park.
I try to carry some extras with me but I like UMainah's idea of the rite-in-the-rain logs.
Only in Bangor??? :p
I hit the 1000 mark last week on our cruise to the Bahamas. It was my 1st international cache and #1000. My family new of my plans to get #1000 on our trip and they surprised me with an engraved...
I use my field notes from the PN-40. That automatically sets the date to when I actually mark it as found on my GPSr which I do right after I physically sign the logbook.
I spent the $55 for the fluorite level registration. I think it is a fair price for a meal and a commemorative coin. I agree that putting on a big event like this is expensive and I have no issue...
My design is on my post. As we have discussed before I too am a Parrothead. I would love to swap tags when you get them.
Thanks TAT! I really appreciate all the hours you put in reviewing our caches. You were awesome when we put out the Power Ranger run on April Fool's day in 2010. As for how I got started.....I had...
I also came upon a mannequin arm in the woods near a cache site one time. I didn't realize it was a fake at first. I had my two boys with me and let me tell you it was not a good feeling. We had a...
On the way out to an FTF on School House Rock in Vassalboro we found a dead rabbit in the middle of the trail. I looked like an animal had got to it not long before we did. It was a bit gross but...
I don't know if it was anxiety as much as me not wanting to drop $55 and end up with the same coin someone could get for $10. I know I get other stuff too but my main reason for choosing the level I...
